Sultan Orhan, a third-year student at our University's Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Trainer Education, achieved a significant milestone by securing second place in the U23 category at the 20th International Istanbul Half Marathon.
Following the championship, Sultan Orhan shared his thoughts, emphasizing the dedication and effort he invested in preparing for the race:
"I have been preparing for this race for a long time. Standing on the podium was a great source of pride for me. Although the weather conditions were challenging at times, I have no doubt that I delivered my best performance. We will continue our training without interruption as we look ahead to upcoming races. I thank my coach Elvan Abeylegesse, who has always been by my side and supported me throughout this journey."
