The “Future Seminars” organized by our University as part of the Open Days, brought prospective students and their families together with our academic staff. Held at our 5th Levent Campus, the seminars provided comprehensive information about faculties, departments and programs to support prospective students in making informed choices about their university and department preferences.
Meeting with prospective students and their families as part of the “Future Seminars” our Rector Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy shared his views on the new education model and the future of education.
Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy emphasized that university education is not limited to the transfer of academic knowledge and highlighted the importance of students interacting with different disciplines, gaining practical experience and developing competencies aligned with the needs of a changing world.
Stating that our University’s new education model aims to prepare students for the world of the future, Prof. Dr. Eryarsoy provided prospective students with information about a student-centered approach to education, interdisciplinary learning, practical education and an academic structure that adapts to technological transformation.
As part of the “Future Seminars” the academic structures, education models and opportunities offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Sport Sciences, as well as the Conservatory and Vocational School, were introduced to prospective students.
During the seminars, presentations on the faculties and academic units were delivered by deans, vice deans and academics. Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dr. Özlem Gülen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Dr. Savaş Sarıhan, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aykaç, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr. Menekşe Aydın, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Ceyda Güney Yüksel, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. İrfan Papila, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Köroğlu and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences Dr. Mustafa Aslan met with prospective students and their families.
In the presentations delivered by Vice Director of the Conservatory Lect. Tolgahan Üsküdarlı and Director of the Vocational School Dr. İsmail Belli, information was provided about the relevant educational programs, practical opportunities and career options after graduation.
The seminars covered the educational content of faculties and departments, practical education opportunities, laboratory and workshop facilities, academic studies, internship processes, industry collaborations, career opportunities and employment opportunities after graduation. Academics also answered prospective students’ questions about departments and programs, providing clarification on issues of interest during the preference process.
Through the “Future Seminars” prospective students had the opportunity to learn about the faculties, departments and programs they were considering directly from our academic staff. Families also received information about educational processes, academic and social opportunities, practical opportunities and career options after graduation.
The seminars held at our 5th Levent Campus contributed to prospective students making more informed choices in line with their areas of interest and career goals, while also providing them with the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with our University’s academic structure, educational approach and the opportunities offered to students.
