Rector Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy hosted a distinguished academic delegation at the University as part of the preparations for the World Science Forum, to be held under the leadership of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
The delegation included TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Tamás Freund, as well as members of the TÜBA Council, TÜBA Young Academy Executive Board, and the World Science Forum Steering Committee.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the preparation process for the World Science Forum, as well as on strengthening international scientific collaboration and enhancing academic exchange. The role of universities in advancing scientific output on a global scale was emphasized, along with the importance of interdisciplinary research and a strong culture of collaboration.
Participants also highlighted that promoting sustainable partnerships among academic institutions would contribute to scientific progress by fostering greater knowledge sharing. In this context, the importance of higher education institutions taking a more active role on international platforms was underlined.
The visit concluded with an exchange of views, expressions of goodwill, and a commemorative photo session.
