KazAI Receives Scalability Potential Award

KazAI, developed by our Faculty of Engineering Software Engineering student and one of the founders of the KazAI initiative, Şahin Başçı, received the Scalability Potential Award at the “Tomorrow’s Technology Leaders” competition organized by Turkcell. Abdullah Kılıç, a student at Istanbul Technical University, also took part in the project.

Among 829 projects submitted from 161 universities across 71 provinces in Türkiye, Şahin Başçı and Abdullah Kılıç stood out and won the award. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy, who attended the award ceremony, congratulated the students for successfully representing the university and stated that the achievement was a source of pride.

KazAI develops AI-powered systems that provide solutions for vehicle damage analysis, repair cost estimation, and decision-support processes. The technology aims to enable faster, more transparent, and data-driven workflows, while increasing efficiency in the insurance and automotive sectors.

The Scalability Potential Award demonstrates that KazAI’s technology not only addresses current needs but is also adaptable to different markets and use cases.

KazAI’s solutions aim to minimize human error and ensure standardization in damage detection and assessment processes. With AI-based analysis systems, faster and more accurate damage evaluation highlights the potential for significant transformation in the sector.
