International Achievement by Our Student Meriç Ağkuş

The Beach Sprint World Rowing Championships, held in Antalya between 6–10 November 2025, once again hosted intense competition this year, with the participation of athletes from 55 countries.

At the event, which brought together competitors from around the world, Meriç Ağkuş, a student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (English) at our University’s Faculty of Engineering, attracted significant attention with his outstanding performance.

Competing in the C-Mix 4x+ category, Ağkuş delivered a strong performance against formidable opponents and achieved a notable result by placing fourth in the world. We congratulate our student for proudly representing our country on the international stage and wish him continued success in his future competitions.
