A Quality Processes Awareness Training was held for academic staff at our University with the aim of strengthening the culture of quality and effectively integrating quality assurance into academic processes.
The training covered the Integrated Quality Management System, ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 management systems, as well as the quality assurance approach of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). Information was also provided on process and risk management, performance monitoring and the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
The training emphasized the active role of academic units in quality processes and the importance of process ownership. Particular focus was placed on transforming quality assurance into a shared and sustainable management approach across the entire institution.
In line with its commitment to continuous improvement, our University continues its efforts to strengthen the culture of quality throughout all academic and administrative processes.
