Informatics Innovation Summit Held at Our University

The “Informatics Innovation Summit,” organized by the Management Information Systems Society was held in collaboration with UNIDES and our university. Addressing a broad perspective ranging from artificial intelligence to data science and from cloud technologies to entrepreneurship, the summit brought together experts in the field with students.

As part of the event, the speakers included Özdemir Mustafa (Microsoft MVP), İlker Ulubey (International AI Strategist and founder of ProMedia Works AI), Önder Türker (Founding CEO of BusinessUp), Barış Yalın Uzunlu (Researcher-Author), Cihan Sarı (Founder of EZY SuperApp Inc. and Pros Studio Software Inc.), Sevda Özsönmez (Managing Partner and Board Member of N2Growth Turkey & Eurasia), Uğur Umutluoğlu (Founder of Devnat & Talentops), Esra Akça (Senior Data Scientist), İrfan Uğur, who works in the fields of strategy, business development and artificial intelligence at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and Semih Bahar (DeFacto Product Owner).

At the summit, speakers shared their experiences regarding digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, data-driven decision-making processes and the entrepreneurship ecosystem, while participants had the opportunity to closely follow current developments in the industry.
