The III. Genesis Summit, organized by the Haliç University Genetics Club, took place on April 21–22, 2025, in the Small Conference Hall with strong participation. Focusing on recent advancements in genetics and biotechnology, the summit brought together academics, students, and science enthusiasts over the course of two days.
Throughout the event, distinguished academics shared their knowledge and experiences with students. The event was further supported by Prof. Dr. Rahmet Savaş, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Haliç University; Prof. Dr. Emine Esra Kasapbaşı, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English); and Dr. Deniz Kanca Demirci, faculty advisor to the Haliç University Genetics Club.
During the first day, Dr. Şükrü Anıl Doğan, Dr. Mete Bora Tüzüner, Prof. Dr. Günseli B. Akçapınar, Dr. Muzaffer Arıkan, and Prof. Dr. Esra Çağavi delivered presentations, providing insights into current research and scientific developments.
During the second day, academic staff from the Department of Psychology — Dr. Kübra Çelik, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeref Gül, Dr. Özlem Ulucan Uçan, Dr. Fatma Kübra Tombultürk, and Kubilay Kinoğlu — shared their academic expertise and professional experiences.
The III. Genesis Summit concluded as an inspiring event for students, encouraging engagement in academic and scientific fields.
