Haliç University and İbn Haldun University Meet to Discuss Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation

Haliç University and İbn Khaldun University held a meeting to discuss the use of artificial intelligence technologies in higher education, digital transformation initiatives and technology-driven projects.

Hosted by Ibn Haldun University, the meeting brought together Haliç University Rector Prof. Dr. Enes Eryarsoy, İbn Haldun University Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan and managers and specialists from Haliç University’s Directorate of Information Technologies.

The discussions focused on the opportunities created by technological transformation in higher education and the initiatives undertaken by universities in this field. The participants exchanged views on the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into academic and administrative processes, software solutions currently under development and ongoing digitalization efforts.

During the meeting, Haliç University shared information about its initiatives in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. KEDU, an AI-powered chatbot developed by the University, was introduced, with details provided on its areas of application and its contribution to higher education processes. Information was also presented on the AI-powered Credit Transfer and Course Equivalency Project, highlighting the solutions it offers to make student-related processes more effective and efficient.

İbn Haldun University also shared its ongoing work in artificial intelligence, software development and digital transformation. Both universities exchanged information and experiences regarding their technological applications and discussed how projects developed in different areas could contribute to higher education processes.

The meeting also explored potential areas of collaboration between the two universities in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Opportunities were evaluated for expanding the exchange of knowledge and experience, developing new joint projects and promoting the wider adoption of innovative technologies in higher education.

Haliç University aims to continue strengthening its initiatives in digital transformation and artificial intelligence in higher education, while fostering knowledge exchange with other universities as a foundation for new collaborations.
