The Department of Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of our university has successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by the Industrial Design Accreditation Board (ENTAK) and has been awarded full accreditation for a period of five years.
The accreditation process, which began on April 4, 2024, was completed following a comprehensive evaluation phase and a mid-term on-site visit conducted on November 20–21, 2025. As part of this process, the accreditation of the Bachelor’s Program in Industrial Design was extended for an additional three years, remaining valid between March 30, 2026, and March 30, 2029. With this outcome, our department has been recognized among the programs accredited by ENTAK at the full accreditation level.
Accreditation represents formal recognition of educational quality, academic competence, strong infrastructural capacity, and a culture of continuous improvement, while also confirming the department’s strong standing in design education. This achievement reflects the Department of Industrial Design’s commitment to an innovative, high-quality, and sustainable educational approach.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all members of our academic staff, students, and stakeholders who contributed to this success, particularly the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Füsun Seçer Kariptaş, and the Head of the Department of Industrial Design, Dr. Zeynep Fırat.
