Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Pays a Visit to Our University

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, visited our university and met with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Kemal Bilal Aydın, and Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç at the Rectorate. The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairmen of the Board of Trustees, Abdullah Ceylan and Dr. Melih Şükrü Ecertaş.

The visit was accompanied by Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum.

Discussions during the visit focused on the university’s international vision, its strategic goals related to youth, and opportunities for collaboration in the field of higher education.

At the conclusion of the visit, Minister Fidan was presented with a painting featuring the silhouette of Istanbul as a token of appreciation.
