A meeting was held at our university to plan the activities to be carried out as part of the COP31 process and to evaluate sustainability-related activities.
The meeting, attended by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Öykü İyigün, our academics, and our climate ambassador, addressed the events planned within the scope of COP31, awareness-raising activities, and opportunities for stakeholder collaboration.
During the meeting, the schedule of upcoming events was reviewed, and discussions focused on potential initiatives to combat climate change, promote environmental sustainability, and advance the zero waste approach. The potential contributions of collaborations with relevant stakeholders to the process were also evaluated.
In line with its goal of building a sustainable future, Haliç University continues to strengthen awareness-raising efforts to combat climate change and develop collaborations in this field.
