Students from the Department of Industrial Design went on a technical trip to the FDI 2026 Fair as part of their Project course. During the trip, the students had the opportunity to examine current products, production approaches, materials and technologies in the field of design firsthand.
Throughout the fair, the students examined the work of companies and designers from various sectors, gaining industry insights into product development, material use, production techniques and current design trends.
As part of the fair, industrial designer Ross Lovegrove delivered a talk. The students had the opportunity to hear directly from Lovegrove about his approach to design, his experiences in design practice and his perspectives on the contemporary design world.
The technical trip aimed to enable students to relate the design knowledge they acquired in the academic environment to industry practices, closely follow current design approaches and develop their perspectives on the professional design world.
We would like to thank all our students for their interest and participation in the technical trip.
