Haliç University, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate program was established in the 2007-2008 academic year and became one of the first in the field among foundation universities. The master's program was started for the first time in the 2010-2011 academic year, and as a well-established and experienced institution in the field, it started to accept physiotherapy and rehabilitation doctoral program students in the 2020-2021 academic year.
PhD
Must have completed undergraduate and graduate education in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

Undergraduate graduation GPA must be at least 2.50 out of 4.00.

Must have obtained a minimum score of 55 in the ALES (Quantitative score type) within the last 5 years from the date of application.

Must have obtained a minimum score of 65 in one of the foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), such as YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL, or other internationally recognized exams within their validity period as determined by YÖK.

In the declaration of foreign language exam scores, the YDS, YÖKDİL, e-YDS, e-YÖKDİL, and other exams recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education are valid.

ALES score is not required for international students.

International students must provide documentation that their undergraduate degree is recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

International students who are entitled to enroll in Turkish-language programs must either pass the Turkish proficiency exam organized by Haliç University’s Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) at the B2 level or obtain the required score from an exam deemed equivalent by the Senate.
Candidates who successfully complete a doctoral program may apply for associate professorship or participate in post-doctoral research programs, in accordance with the applicable regulations and institutional criteria within the framework of academic advancement.

Our graduates can work as doctor physiotherapists in hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health, centers affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, university hospitals, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, sports clubs and social services. Universities can work as academicians.
