About The Program

Students who have completed their master's degree in sports sciences in our university or other universities, who are engaged in research, training and management in the sciences of science, technology and age following sports scientists, meet the trained staff needs of our university, graduates of graduate program in medical and paramedical areas and other disciplines due to take to meet the higher levels of academic and scientific information needs in terms of updating and Turkey in order to contribute to the development of Sports Sciences' Physical Education and Sports Department branch opened in a doctoral program.

In 1998, he started to his education in Haliç University School of Physical Education and Sports. In 2011, the Master's program in Physical Education and Sports Sciences was established within the Institute of Health Sciences.
Doctoral Diploma
In order to be able to register to the doctoral program, the master thesis must have a completed and two-year master's degree, and must receive at least 55 points from the Graduate Education Examination (ALES) in numerical and / or equal weight. According to the announced quotas, applicants are required to take the valid grade (75) from the oral and / or written exam prepared by the Department related to the Institute after being pre-registered to the program.
For the admission to the PhD program, a minimum score of 55 from the Foreign Language Placement Test (YDS) or an equivalent score from an exam accepted by the Interuniversity, English, French and German. A score of at least 55 points from the Examination Exam or an equivalent score from an exam accepted by the Interuniversity Board is required
All students who have completed their Ph.D degree in Physical Education and Sports; Movement and Training Sciences or Sports Health or Sports Management, Physical Education and Sports Teaching programs have completed the biggest phase of becoming a lecturer in the program.

Doctoral program, for students who are accepted with a master's degree with thesis, a total of 21 credits in one academic year and not less than 60 ECTS, at least 7 courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis, including 240 ECTS credits. It occurs. The courses, thesis and presentation of the program are given to the students who have completed the thesis according to the success conditions stated in the regulation. PhD degree is given by Halic University Graduate Institute for Physical Education and Sports Sciences Program .
Opportunities are provided for starting an academic career in higher education institutions and in areas related to physical education and sports.
The exams consist of midterm, end of half-year and Decadal exams. Exams; written, oral, written-applied and oral-applied can be done. At least one midterm exam is held for each course in the relevant semester. Dec. Decadal exam and semi-final grade contribution rates are decided by the Institute's Board of Directors at the beginning of each semester on the recommendation of the relevant faculty member or lecturers with a doctoral degree, whose qualifications are determined by the Senate
