About The Program

The International Business Management (English) Program is located within the Institute of Social Sciences, which was active in the 2002-2003 academic year.
The program became operational with the 2019-2020 academic year.

International Trade Expertise
Candidates who have a foreign language degree determined by the Senate (at least 55 in the score types accepted by YÖK) and graduated from various departments of four-year faculties can enroll in the program, provided that their grade point average is at least 2.5 until the application date and they are successful in the interview exam.
The language of instruction of the program is English.
Candidates studying in the non-thesis program have the right to switch to programs with thesis by fulfilling ALES and other conditions, and have the right to apply to higher education programs such as doctorate after graduation from the thesis program.

In order to graduate from the program, it is necessary to be successful in at least 10 courses (3 elective, 7 compulsory grade point average) and a term project, not less than 30 credits (90 ECTS credits).
Our graduates have employment opportunities mainly in private companies, public institutions and non-governmental organizations operating internationally.
The companies' international marketing, procurement, operations and finance departments are the main starting points.
Hospitals that accept foreign patients, schools that accept foreign students, tourism institutions, companies that organize international fairs, international logistics companies, construction companies abroad, as well as non-governmental organizations with foreign economic relations (associations, chambers, exporters' unions), municipalities, chief executive There are employment opportunities in the central and provincial organizations of many ministries, including the Ministry of Economy.
All exams, assessments and evaluations are made in accordance with the relevant articles of the Haliç University Graduate Education and Training Examination Regulation.
The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is explained in detail in the Course Descriptions.
The passing grade in the program is evaluated by calculating 40% of the total exam evaluations during the semester and 60% of the final grade.
