Regarding the Q-Test Scheduled for August 18–19, 2025

Dear Students,

On 18-19 August 2025, the Q Test Exam will be held for all ongoing/registered Preparatory School students.

The exam fee is $100.

Payments must be made to the university’s account specified below by writing Q-Test Exam/Student Name-Surname in the Description section. Payments with missing descriptions will not be approved.

Payment receipts must be sent to ydyomudurlugu@halic.edu.tr before the exam.

Exam Information

Time: 10:30

Location: 2nd Block Classrooms (5th and 6th floor)

Classes can be checked from the exam location lists on the boards on the 4th floor.

Exam Format Information

The exam consists of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into 4 main sections:

  1. Listening-20 questions
  2. Reading-20 questions
  3. Vocabulary-20 questions
  4. Use of English-40 questions

  1. Each student must enter the exams with his/her Student ID Card or a valid official photo ID card with his/her T.R. Identity Number. ID cards must be left on the desk until the end of the exam.
  2. At the very beginning of the exam, the relevant student must sign the question and answer sheets by writing his/her name, surname, and Turkish ID number on the top of the sheets with a ballpoint pen. The optical form must be filled in with a pencil.
  3. The seating in the classroom is arranged by the examiners. Everyone must follow the warnings of the examiners.
  4. After the exam starts, you may enter the classroom only after 20 minutes (after the Listening part of the exam is over). It is strictly forbidden to enter the exam after the first ten minutes following the end of the listening part.
  5. It is forbidden to leave the exam hall in the first 20 minutes after the exam starts and in the last 15 minutes of the exam.
  6. Questions about the exam can be asked to the examiners in the first 5 minutes. Questions cannot be asked later in order not to disturb the concentration of other students taking the exam.
  7. Digital materials (cell phones, calculators, smartwatches, etc.) are considered as direct evidence of cheating. For this reason, digital materials cannot be kept on. They cannot be stored above or below the desk.
  8. Any kind of course materials cannot be kept above or below the desk. Course materials and digital devices must be kept away from the desk during the exam. The top and bottom of the desk must be kept absolutely empty.
  9. During the exam, talking, looking, and any kind of exchange with another person is prohibited and is considered cheating.
  10. The student who finishes the exam must sign the exam report with a ballpoint pen while handing over the exam documents, including the number of documents.
