Haliç University Participated in NAFSA 2025

In line with its vision of internationalization, Haliç University participated in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo, one of the most prestigious global events in the field of higher education. Representing the university at the event, held between May 27–30 in San Diego, USA, was Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç, who conducted a series of high-level meetings.

Organized since 1948, the NAFSA Conference once again brought together higher education institutions from around the world. This year, the event attracted more than 3,500 representatives from over 150 countries, all gathering to explore collaboration opportunities and to stay up to date with the latest developments in international education.

Türkiye took part in this significant event for the first time through the “Study in Türkiye” pavilion, established with the support of the Turkish National Agency. A total of 53 universities and 3 institutions from Türkiye were represented at the pavilion, including Haliç University.

During the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Nihat İnanç held bilateral meetings with representatives from universities across various countries. These engagements aim to strengthen the university’s international collaboration network, increase its global visibility, and showcase the high quality of education offered at Haliç University.

With its participation in NAFSA 2025, Haliç University once again reaffirmed its commitment to advancing its internationalization strategy.
