About The Program

Turizm İşletmeciliği Tezli Yüksek Lisans Programı, lisans öğrenimine sahip öğrencilerin bilgi ve yönetim becerilerini geliştirerek sektör ile ilgili kritik değerlendirmeler yapmalarına yardımcı olmaktadır. Bu program, turizm işletmeciliği alanında  yöneticiler, araştırmacılar ve akademisyen adaylarını yetiştirerek onların kariyer beklentilerini karşılamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu program aynı zamanda öğrencilerin problem teşhisi, yönetim ve pazarlama alanlarında ortaya atılan kuramlar hakkında bilgilenmelerini sağlamaktadır.  Yüksek lisans programı dahilinde bir taraftan  Turizm İşletmelerinde Modern Yönetim Stratejileri, Uluslararası Turizm Pazarlarında Tanıtım ve Markalaşma, Turizmde Güncel Konular, Turizm İşletmelerinde Kriz Yönetimi gibi yönetim ve pazarlama dersleri yer alırken diğer taraftan Gastro Turizm, Dijital Turizm, Turizm İşletmelerinde İnovasyon ve Yenilik Yönetimi gibi dersler de yer almaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Haliç Üniversitesi Turizm İşletmeciliği Yüksek Lisans Programının çok disiplinli bir yapıya sahip olduğunu söylemek mümkündür.

Halic University, Institute of Social Sciences was established in the spring semester of the 2002-2003 academic year.
Second Cycle (Master’s) Degree; Level 7 in National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education in Turkey (NQF-HETR, TYYÇ).
-Graduate Degree. - All Turkish applicants are required to take either ALES or GRE. Turkish applicants should get at least 55 (EA) from the ALES or its international equivalents, or 1100 from GRE. -Applicants who does not have 55 (EA) score at ALES or uquivalent, may apply as Special Student. The total number of credit, that special student should take, cannot exceed the 50% of the program's total credits. -Students from different major should take scientific preparation.
Applicants may apply PHd programmes.

The graduate students in this master program must complete a minimum of 21 local credits (7 courses), a seminar course and a thesis; they must be successful in all of the courses with a minimum achievement grade of CB, must have completed 120 ECTS credits and have scored a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 to qualify for graduation.
Students who graduate from the Tourism Management program have the opportunity to work in the central departments and branches of hotels and tour operators, travel agencies, airline companies and food and beverage companies.
Regarding the exams and course grades, the relevant articles of the Haliç University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations are applied.
