The Haliç University Disability Student Coordinatorship has been established to take the necessary measures and make the necessary arrangements to prepare the academic environment required to reduce the difficulties encountered by our disabled students in university life and to facilitate their education, and to ensure their full participation in the education and training processes. The Unit aims to facilitate the educational lives of disabled students, starting with their enrolment in the programmes they have gained admission to at Haliç University, by meeting their accessibility and availability needs, identifying their requirements, and to take the necessary measures to meet these needs and eliminate any obstacles. It does this by taking measures to ensure their full participation in the education and training environment, ranging from individualised teaching adaptations, course and exam arrangements, and the provision of tools and equipment to social and psychological support, and by making the necessary arrangements in cooperation with other units.
