National Success from Our Rowing Team

Our students returned with medals from the Fetih Sporfest Rowing Races organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation.

Competing in the Men’s C2x category, our students Meriç Ağkuş and Cevat Güney Erdem won the silver medal, finishing second among nine teams from nine universities.

Our other athletes representing our University at the Fetih Sporfest Rowing Races, Emir Şenpolat, Kazım Arda Yıldız, Irmak Şevval İltüzer, and Arda Pişirgen, also achieved significant success. With their performances in different categories, our athletes contributed to the team score and played an important role in placing our university at the top of the general standings.

According to the total points collected at the end of the races, our University won third place in Türkiye in the rowing branch and received the team trophy.
