The Game Development and Programming Program was established in 2025 to meet the demands of the current era, reflecting the rapid growth of the digital game industry in our country and globally, and the increasing need for a qualified technical workforce in this field. Opened within the Vocational School with approval from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the program has an interdisciplinary structure that blends theoretical and practical training. By offering training in areas such as game design, software development, graphic production, and user experience, the program aims to equip students with the skills to directly participate in the industry. The program, which accepted its first students in the 2025–2026 academic year, aims to be among the leading vocational schools offering game development education in Turkey with its strong academic staff, state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, and practical coursework integrated with the industry. |
