Program Head's Message

Dear Students,

Welcome to our Child Development Program.

Childhood is one of the most important periods shaping an individual's lifelong development. Therefore, working in the field of child development is an important professional responsibility that requires not only working with children, but also correctly assessing their developmental characteristics, recognizing their needs, supporting families, and contributing to the healthy development of children.

As the Child Development Program at Haliç University Vocational School, we value your development as individuals who are scientifically knowledgeable, possess advanced practical skills, and are sensitive to children's rights and professional ethical principles. We aim for you to integrate the theoretical knowledge you acquire throughout your education with practical applications, to become child development professionals who research, question, improve themselves, and continue their professional development throughout their lives.

Remember that your university life is not only about acquiring professional knowledge; it is also an important period where you get to know yourself, gain new skills, develop different perspectives, and shape your future.

I believe that contributing to the development of children means contributing to the future of society; I wish you success, curiosity, and a university life full of discoveries on your educational journey.
