Dear students,
We would like to welcome both our newly enrolled students and those continuing their studies at our university.
Regardless of their year of enrolment, all students taking the English Proficiency Examination on 14-15 September 2026will take the same examination and be assessed under the same conditions.
The first stage of the examination will be held on Monday, 14 September 2026, at 10:30. This stage will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions assessing listening, grammar, vocabulary and reading skills.
Students who successfully complete the first stage will take the Writing and Speaking examinations on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, at 10:30. The results of the first stage will be sent to students by email.
The score distribution is as follows:
The required passing score for examinaton from the English Preparatory Program is 60/100. For the Departments of American Culture and Literature and English Translation and Interpretation, the required score is 70/100.
The examinations will be held in the 2nd Block. Examination rooms will be announced on the noticeboard on the 4th Floor of the 2nd Block and through our official announcement channels.
As the first section of the examination is Listening, students must arrive at least 30 minutes before the examination begins. Students arriving after the Listening section has started will not be admitted to the examination room.
Please bring your student ID card and a valid identification document with you.

Free shuttle service will be provided between Alibeyköy Metro Station and the Campus for students attending the exam. The shuttle service hours are as follows:
Not: Shuttle services will be provided using 30-seat vehicles.
