About The Program
Günümüzde sağlık hizmetleri yalnızca tedavi amacıyla değil, aynı zamanda turizm sektörüyle birleşerek küresel ölçekte büyüyen bir alan haline gelmiştir. İnsanların farklı ülkelere giderek sağlık hizmeti alması, sağlık turizmi kavramını doğurmuş ve bu alanda nitelikli iş gücüne olan ihtiyacı artırmıştır. İşte bu noktada Sağlık Turizmi İşletmeciliği programı, hem sağlık hem de turizm alanlarını bir araya getirerek önemli bir köprü görevi üstlenmektedir.
 
PROGRAM BAŞKANI MESAJI
Sevgili öğrenciler,
Sağlık Turizmi son yıllarda hem dünyada hem ülkemizde hızla gelişen sektörlerden biridir. Özellikle gelişmiş ülkelerde sosyal sigorta ya da özel sigorta maliyetlerinin artması insanları nispeten daha ucuz ülkelere tedavi amacıyla seyahat etmesinin yolunu açmıştır. Türkiye; coğrafi konumu, gelişmiş sağlık altyapısı, termal kaynakları ve uygun maliyetli hizmetleriyle sağlık turizminde öne çıkan ülkeler arasındadır. Termal, medikal ve cerrahi turizm alanlarında önemli bir potansiyele sahiptir. Son on yıl içerisinde sağlık turizmi hizmeti sunan hastaneler, oteller, sağlık turizmi acenteleri faaliyetlerini önemli ölçüde arttırmıştır. Sağlık Turizmi işletmeciliği program mezunları olarak bu avantajı değerlendirerek ulusal ve uluslararası alanda kariyer imkânına sahip olabilirsiniz.

The Health Tourism Management program has started its educational activities at our university as of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Students who successfully complete the program are awarded an associate degree in Health Tourism Management.
Having a high school diploma or equivalent
Getting a sufficient score on the TYT exam administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center
Graduates of the Health Tourism Management Program can transfer to the following departments of faculties and 4-year colleges, based on the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS); Business Informatics, Business Management, Business Administration-Economics, Accommodation Management, Accommodation and Tourism Management, Tourism Management, Tourism Management and Hotel Management, Tourism and Hotel Management, and Tourism and Hotel Management.

Students are eligible to graduate when they successfully complete all compulsory and elective courses in their curriculum and achieve 120 ECTS and a minimum 2.00 GPA.
The Health Tourism Management program began operating at our university in the 2024-2025 academic year. Graduates of the program find employment opportunities in the health tourism departments of public and private healthcare institutions and organizations, in agencies operating in health tourism, and in hotels and facilities offering wellness services.
The Midterm Exam has a 40% and the Final Exam has a 60% grade weight.
