Students enrolled in this program must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 to graduate and must meet the minimum grade/requirement specified in the Haliç University Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations for all courses required in their curriculum. The minimum ECTS credits required for graduation are 120. Students must also complete their mandatory internships within the specified time and in the specified manner.

Students who successfully complete vocational school programs aimed at training qualified human resources based on secondary education qualifications and covering at least a two-year program and who earn the required credits are eligible to receive an Associate Degree.
The main employment areas for rail systems operations graduates are as follows:

Government Institutions: One of the most important employers is public institutions such as the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and TCDD Transportation Inc. Graduates can be appointed as civil servants or technicians in these institutions through the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS).

Municipalities: They can work in metro, tram, and light rail system operations affiliated with metropolitan municipalities.

Private Sector: Newly established or existing private railway and logistics companies, as well as companies that manufacture rail vehicles and spare parts, also offer important job opportunities for graduates.

Some positions in which graduates can pursue a career are as follows:

Rail System Operator/Technician: They manage traffic, schedule trips, and carry out operational processes for train, metro, or tram lines.

Logistics Specialist: They are responsible for logistics activities such as planning, organizing, and tracking freight transportation by rail systems.

Transportation Planner: They plan routes and schedules to ensure the efficient and safe operation of urban or interurban rail transportation projects.

Project Manager: They may be involved in the planning, budget management, and implementation processes of new rail system projects.
Each student must register for courses at the beginning of the semester and must have attended at least 70% of the lectures and at least 80% of the practical sessions in order to be eligible to take the final exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm exam and one final exam for each course. The final grade is determined by calculating the contribution of the midterm exam (grades obtained from assessment tools such as assignments, lab exams, practicals, etc. may also be included in the midterm grade) and the contribution of the final exam.
In measuring success in a course, midterm exams, additional exams, field and workplace work, practical work, assignments, projects, workshops, seminars, attendance, laboratory work, and similar midterm activities related to that course may be evaluated. The types of mid-term activities, their contribution to the course grade, and the contribution of the final exam grade are announced to students by the instructor at the beginning of each semester. The grades for all mid-term activities and final exams related to the courses are announced.
In order for a student to be considered successful at the end of the semester, the average of their midterm and final exams (as well as any additional exams, field and workplace work, practical work, assignments, projects, workshops, seminars, attendance, laboratory work, and similar activities) must be 50 points out of 100.
Students who do not take midterm exams (vize) without any valid reason will not be allowed to take the final exam, as per the guidelines.
