| The Unmanned Vehicle Technician Program was established within the Haliç University Vocational School in 2025. It began offering associate degree education by accepting students in the 2025-2026 academic year. |
| Students who successfully complete the theoretical and practical courses in the program graduate as Unmanned Vehicle Technicians. |
| Admission to the Unmanned Vehicle Technician program requires a high school diploma. Students are accepted to the program based on the relevant regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and are determined by ÖSYM. |
| Students graduating from the Unmanned Vehicle Technician Program can apply to four-year undergraduate programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), administered annually by ÖSYM. You can find a list of undergraduate programs eligible for vertical transfer in the ÖSYM DGS Guide. |

To graduate, students in this program must have a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00. To be eligible for graduation, students must successfully complete all courses in the curriculum (equivalent to a total of at least 120 ECTS credits). Graduation requires the successful completion of an internship and graduation project. |
| Our graduates can work in the oil and gas industry, wind turbine inspection and control, agricultural applications, product spraying and product monitoring, firefighting applications, reconnaissance and surveillance, the defense industry, law enforcement applications, pollution detection, weather monitoring, sea condition monitoring, search and rescue, cargo transportation in the logistics field, mapping, and urban transformation applications in the construction industry. |
|
All students must register for classes at the beginning of the semester and attend at least 70% of the classes and 80% of the practical sessions to be eligible for the final exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm and one midterm exam for each course. A success grade is determined by calculating the contribution of the midterm exam (scores from assessment tools such as homework, laboratory exams, practical sessions, etc. may also be considered as midterm exam grades) and the contribution of the final exam. To measure success in a course, midterm exams, supplemental exams, field and workplace work, practical sessions, homework, projects, workshops, seminars, attendance, laboratories, and similar midterm work constitute 40% of the course evaluation grade. The instructor of the course announces the types of midterm work and the contribution of the final exam grade to the course success grade at the beginning of each semester. Grades for all midterm work and final exams related to the courses are announced. |
