Meslek Yüksekokulu ile Geleceğe Güçlü Bir Başlangıç

In line with the vision and mission undertaken by our University and Vocational School, our primary aim is to train professional and technical personnel who gain knowledge and skills, adopt lifelong learning as a principle, question, research, learn and produce, while showing respect for both people and nature.

Our Vocational School does not simply “train intermediate staff”, but rather cultivates competent professionals in their fields.

Haliç University Vocational School was founded in 2010 with 11 programs and today has expanded to 39 programs: Anesthesia, Culinary Arts, Banking and Insurance, Computer Programming, Computer Technology, Information Security Technology, Cloud Computing Operations, Big Data Analytics, Child Development, International Trade, Digital Transformation Electronics, Electricity, Electronics Technology, E-Commerce and Marketing, Physiotherapy, Graphic Design, Interior Design, First Aid and Emergency Care, Manufacturing Execution Systems Operations, Human Resources Management, Unmanned Vehicle Technology, Construction Technology, Business Management, Corporate Information Systems Expertise, Logistics, Court Clerkship and Judicial Office Services, Machinery, Fashion Design, Autonomous Systems Technology, Game Development and Programming, Rail Systems Management, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Hair Care and Beauty Services, Health Information Systems Technology, Health Tourism Management, Cybersecurity, Medical Imaging Techniques, Tourism and Hotel Management, Artificial Intelligence Operations

The courses within these programs are designed as compulsory and elective field courses, as well as non-field electives, in accordance with the requirements of the job market. In addition to the workshops and laboratories specific to its own programs, our Vocational School also utilizes all facilities used by other units of our University for educational purposes.

In order to establish effective communication between business, society, industry, and our students, a wide range of seminars, conferences, panels, and exhibitions are organized each month. Additionally, professional and technical visits to various companies are carried out.

With the recently implemented “Sectoral Education Program”, which supports university-industry cooperation, our second-year students who wish to participate may work one or two days a week at partner companies throughout the year, with the aim of improving their professional experience and preparing for the future. This work counts as an internship, and upon the completion of at least 480 hours, students are awarded a “Sectoral Education Certificate.” In this way, our students are able to become familiar with professional life and increase their employability even before graduation.

At our Vocational School, both our academic staff and students benefit from ERASMUS Exchange Programs. Within the framework of bilateral agreements and arrangements, our students may continue their education at universities or higher education institutions in other participating countries under the scope of the ERASMUS program.
