The aim of the Construction Technology Program is to train qualified (intermediate technical) personnel who will serve our country in the sectors related to the Construction Technology Program of the 21st century, respond to the needs of the age, and have the necessary qualifications in line with the needs of the sector, by making use of their knowledge of science, technology and art. to contribute to the use and dissemination of this information. In the Construction Technology associate degree program, a course covering engineering and architecture-based construction courses such as technical drawing, statics and strength, building statics, building technology, strength, building materials, computer-aided drawing and design, construction quantity and cost, reinforced concrete and soil mechanics training is planned. Apart from the classrooms where the students are educated, there are also laboratories where licensed education of many computer aided programs (such as Sta4cad, Autocad, Photoshop) related to the department can be given. In line with the training received, it is aimed to get to know the requirements of the sector better and to have the opportunity to apply the training they received in the field with the summer internship to be held for 30 working days. |

Students who are enrolled in this program must have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 in order to graduate and they must fulfill the minimum achievement grade / condition determined by Haliç University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education - Education and Examination Regulations from all courses envisaged in the curriculum. The minimum ECTS required to be earned for graduation is 120. Students are also required to complete compulsory internships at the same time and in the specified time. Students who have successfully completed vocational college programs aimed at raising qualified human resources, including a minimum of two years of programs based on secondary education qualifications, are eligible to receive a Associate Degree Diploma. |
| Program graduates; in the construction sector, in infrastructure and superstructure sites, in architectural, static-reinforced concrete buildings, in material production and marketing areas, in concrete plants, in public institutions and organizations related to the construction sector. |
| In measuring success in a course; Midterm exams, supplementary exams, field and workplace work, practice, homework, project, workshop, seminar, attendance, laboratory and similar intra-semester studies of that course; constitutes 40% of the course evaluation grade. The types of studies during the semester and the contribution of these and the final exam grade to the course success grade are announced to the students at the beginning of each semester by the instructor. The grades of all semester studies and final exams related to the courses are announced. |
