Students become eligible to graduate after successfully completing all compulsory and elective courses in their curriculum, earning a total of 120 ECTS credits, and maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.
Graduates of the Business Management Program have broad employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors. They can work in various fields such as finance, marketing, human resources, sales, production management, logistics, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, they have the opportunity to hold managerial and specialist positions in banks, insurance companies, consulting firms, and enterprises in the manufacturing and service sectors. Thanks to the theoretical knowledge and practical skills gained from the program, graduates are preferred in the industry as professionals who can develop effective solutions, think innovatively, and act strategically in dynamic work environments.
Students who register for a course at the beginning of the semester must attend at least 70% of the theoretical classes and 80% of the practical classes in order to be eligible to take the end-of-term exam. Students are required to take at least one midterm exam and a final exam for each course. The contribution of the midterm exam (which may include scores from assignments, laboratory exams, quizzes, and other assessment tools) to the overall grade is 40%, while the final exam contributes 60%. All exams are graded out of 100 points. Students who receive one of the letter grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), or (CC) are considered to have passed the course. Grades of (DC) and (DD) are conditional passing grades.
Relative or absolute grading systems are used to calculate students’ final grades. The decision on which grading system will be applied is made by the relevant academic board before the academic year begins. The conversion table prepared by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is used for converting between the 4-point and 100-point grading scales.
