The Banking and Insurance Program was established in 2011 within the body of Haliç University Vocational School and started education in the 2011-2012 academic year by accepting students in the field of associate degree. The Banking and Insurance Program aims to train people who have practical knowledge with system and program applications as well as theoretical diversity, and who can make analytical decisions quickly and accurately. In order to graduate in-house, 30 working days of practical training (summer internship) are required in addition to all courses. In this way, platforms; It has the opportunity to develop storage with sectoral innovations, experiences and practical applications. In this context, our program is in a strategic position in terms of the sector on which it is based. On the other hand, the expansion of the sector in parallel with technological innovations causes the banking and insurance department to maintain its vitality. The increase and diversification of the number of financial instruments also improves the workforce needs of the sector day by day. We aim to convey the digitalization and technological innovations in the sector to you in the most accurate way, and we are constantly renewing ourselves so that you can gain equipment in this direction. In this context, we worked on our curriculum and included computer and software-based courses in our course content. Our courses, where you will follow basic technological developments and develop basic computer applications, are given in our well-equipped computer laboratories. By providing a virtual platform to each student in our laboratories; Our students are offered the opportunity to continue their basic computer applications on dedicated servers.
