Train-the-Trainer’ Program Held for Academic and Administrative Staff at Our University

A Train-the-Trainer program was organized at our university in collaboration with the Directorate of Human Resources and the Continuing Education Center (CEC) to support the professional development of academic and administrative staff. The training sessions were delivered by Prof. R. Cengiz Akçay and Assoc. Prof. Püren Akçay.

As part of the program, academic staff attended sessions on instructional design, classroom management, communication skills, and assessment strategies. For administrative personnel, the topics included effective communication, meeting management, crisis management, and time management.

Conducted through interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities, the training contributed significantly to both institutional and individual development. By the end of the program, a total of 525 participants — 302 academic and 223 administrative staff — had taken part.
