Our Tennis Team Finishes Fourth in Europe

Our university’s tennis team has achieved a significant success at the European Universities Tennis Championship held in Coimbra, Portugal.

After winning their group stage matches against the University of Lisbon and Abo Akademi University, our team advanced from the group. They then went on to beat the University of Valencia in the quarterfinals, securing a place in the semifinals. Although our athletes were eliminated in the semifinals, they finished the championship in fourth place in their first-ever appearance at the tournament.

We congratulate our athletes and their coach, Research Assistant Ali Günay, on this outstanding achievement and wish them continued success in the international arena.
