| In the Theater Department, where students are trained in acting, students take theoretical lessons as well as basic acting lessons. Two-thirds of the courses are applied and one-third are theoretical. Students learn various acting techniques from classical to modern. After the acting lessons in the first four semesters, students are introduced to various approaches that will give them different perspectives that will help them to create their own synthesis. In the last four semesters, students are given lessons to be able to apply the knowledge they have gained and play staging is done
