​​Qualifications, required documents, application date for students to be accepted with Internal Transfer in accordance with the Regulation on Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer and Haliç University Horizontal Transfer Directive. , reserved quotas and other issues are stated below.

Application Requirements

Duration of Education

Students who is in the preparation programs, cannot do internal transfer for both of associate and undergraduate diploma programs. Moreover, internal transfer cannot be done first and last semester of associate degree programs, and in the fisrt two and last two semester of undergraduate diploma programs.

Academic Success

To apply for a transfer between degree programs of the same level within the university, beginning from the year of the central exam the student has taken, the score the student has achieved in the same score field as the program they desire to transfer to requires, cannot be below the base score any higher education institute has accepted for the given degree program previously.

Students who registered in Turkish programs and will apply for Internal Transfer in English program, must meet English language requirement. Those who have not successfully completed the English Preparation Program or who do not have a English qualification certificate accepted by the Senate can take the English Proficiency Exam. The exam dates are given below.


​IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS ABOUT APPLICATION

  • The application form must be filled in correctly and completely and the required documents must be uploaded to the system online.
  • Since all the evaluation process will be done on the documents uploaded to the system, it is important that the documents are complete and correct.
  • Applications made by mail are not accepted.
  • Horizontal transfer placement and exemption procedures are made with the decision of the relevant Faculty Administrative Board.

After Online Application;​

  • You accept and declare that the information you provide in the form is correct.
  • Applications with missing and unapproved documents will not be evaluated by the relevant committees.
  • If the information you have declared in the application form is found to be incomplete or incorrect, you cannot make a claim, even if your registration has been made, it will be canceled and disciplinary action will be taken against you.
  • It is obligatory to present the original of your documents during registration.

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED ON THE APPLICATION SCREEN​

1.      Student Certificate
The date of the document must be at least 15 days before the application date.) (E-Government printout can be done)​

2.      Transcript
A transcript showing all courses taken, grades and grade point averages, prepared by the registered higher education institution.​

3.      Exam Result Document​

5.      English Proficiency Certificate (For applications to English departments)
One of the English proficiency documents accepted by the University Senate for students applying for lateral transfer to English departments.​

In addition, those who have studied at least at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level in the English preparatory program of the higher education institution they are registered to in the last two years, and who have completed this program with at least 65 points out of 100 full points, are also considered to have achieved English proficiency.​

Students who do not have an English Proficiency Certificate and apply to departments where the medium of instruction is English must take the English Proficiency Exam to be held by the English Preparatory School of our University and be successful.

WHAT TO CONSIDER IN APPLICATION​

  1. Enter your TR Identity Number and e-mail from the 'New Users' section, and click the 'Existing' password. Log in from the 'Users' field. After logging in, you can fill in the relevant fields and complete your application.
  2. After completing your application, you can confirm that your application has been received from the confirmation e-mail sent to your e-mail.
  3. In case of status changes, you will be contacted via your e-mail address and mobile phone. Please make sure all fields are correct.​
