With the aim of making the highest of contributions to our country's progress in the field of science and technology, our university continues to gain important achievements in technologies that will shape the future and new generation professions. In line with this goal, we continue to harvest the fruits of our Scientific Research Projects/Patents and innovative works within the scope of TUBITAK and TEKNOFEST.
Within the scope of the "Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST" competitions held between April 27 and May 01, 2023, our university won 3 major prizes and achieved a proud and happy feat.
- Our project named "Hydrogen Production with a Parabolic Dish Solar Collector" received the third prize in the TEKNOFEST 2023 Energy and Environment category. The project was carried out by our Vocational School Machinery Program students Muhammet GÜNDOĞDU, Muhammet Ali AYDIN, and Furkan CURA under the supervision of Lecturer Arif KARABUĞA.
2. Our project titled "Digital Health Control System" within the scope of TEKNOFEST National Space Program has
ranked first among the National Space studies and was entitled to take part in the program. The project was carried out by Prof. Dr. Gökay AYDEMİR and his team.
3. Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, our joint patent application titled "A Composition for Heavy Metal Deposition in Tissues with Significant Athosclerosis of the Coronary Arteries" was awarded the
"Gold Medal" by the TURKISH PATENT INSTITUTE. Our graduate student Onur YOLAY and project advisor Prof. Dr. Esra KASAPBAŞI took part in the project team.
We hope that such studies, which are of great importance to take part in our country's national technology breakthrough, will become widespread throughout our university.
